April Vallette entered the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) immediately after graduating with her Bachelors from Tulane University in 2011. She quickly learned how effective ABA could be while working as a line technician with a family in their home. She received her Masters of Arts in Teaching as Applied Behavior Analysis from Teachers College, Columbia University in May 2014 and received her BCBA certification shortly after in August 2014. Following graduate school, April worked as a special education teacher and as a line technician supervisor. She joined the Chartwell team in August 2019 and has enjoyed participating in our collaborative structure. In her free time, she enjoys family time with her husband and daughter.
